YOGA RETREATS & MORE
Meticulously Curated Retreats
Frequently Asked Questions:
These are the questions people ask the most often before booking onto a retreat...
1 / What happens on your UK yoga and wellness retreats?
Our retreats are designed as a gentle but powerful reset.
Here, you get to be looked after.
Your days might include yoga, suitable for all levels, creative workshops, healing sound baths, nourishing food, beautiful walks, time in nature, meaningful conversation and plenty of space to rest, reflect and simply breathe again.
There is structure, but never rigidity.
Plenty to enjoy without pressure.
And always time to go at your own pace.
You arrive tired from routine.
You leave clearer, lighter and more yourself.
2 / What happens on your retreats abroad?
Our retreats abroad are about much more than yoga and self-care.
I intentionally choose destinations that fascinate most people. Often places away from the usual tourist trail, where we can experience a more authentic sense of a country and its culture. Places with their own stories, character and rhythm of life.
The aim is to take time to reconnect with ourselves, because that is what a retreat is for, while also connecting with the country we are visiting and the people and culture that make it unique.
There is always a mix of experiences: guided visits, cultural moments, local discoveries and time to simply enjoy being somewhere different.
I don't believe in filling every minute of every day.
There is space to look after your own needs too. That might mean reading by the pool, taking a quiet walk or heading off on a shopping expedition.
You can join in with everything, or choose to do less.
Because sometimes the most valuable part of a retreat is having the time and space to breathe.
Whether we are exploring somewhere new abroad or walking through the beautiful landscapes of the UK, the intention is the same: to step away from everyday routine, reconnect with ourselves and return home feeling refreshed, nourished and more alive.
3 / Who are your retreats for?
Our retreats are created especially for men and women who:
-
Need time away from routine and responsibility
-
Crave meaningful human connection
-
Want comfort without extravagance
-
Prefer small groups and thoughtful hosting
Many guests come alone. Almost all leave with new friendships.
4 / Do I need to be good at yoga?
Absolutely not!
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to have done yoga recently or ever!
Our sessions are welcoming, adaptable and grounded. This is about reconnecting with your body, not performing.
I very carefully select yoga teachers who have enough experience to tailor the sessions to the guests' abilities.
5 / What makes your retreats different from other retreats?
There are many beautiful retreats on offer all over the world.
What makes ours different is the care and attention to detail behind every experience.
After years of organising and hosting group travel, I understand that the little things matter. From choosing the right location and accommodation to creating a thoughtful balance between activities, rest and connection, every element is carefully considered.
Our retreats combine:
-
Affordable luxury
-
Beautiful locations away from the crowds
-
A warm, down-to-earth atmosphere
-
Time to explore, discover and connect with our surroundings
-
Deep rest and space to breathe
-
Genuine human connection
Our retreats are intentionally small, with a maximum of just eight guests.
This means the experience feels personal, relaxed and welcoming. Never crowded or impersonal.
Whether we're walking through the beautiful UK countryside or exploring a destination further afield, our retreats are not about rushing from one activity to the next.
They are carefully held experiences, designed to give you time to step away from everyday routine, reconnect with yourself and the world around you, and be looked after for a few days.
6 / Are your retreats suitable for solo travellers?
Absolutely!
Most of our guests travel solo.
The group size is intentionally small so connection happens naturally, without awkward ice-breakers or forced sharing.
Before every retreat, I will set up a WhatsApp group so you can get to know your fellow retreaters before meeting them in person.
You can join in fully or take quiet time when you need it.
7 / What does a typical retreat day look like?
Each location has its own rhythm and activities, but generally:
-
Gentle morning yoga
-
A relaxed breakfast
-
Time for walking, exploring, journalling or simply resting
-
Optional workshops or excursions
-
Late afternoon restorative practice
-
Shared meals and unhurried conversation
There is always free time.
This is your retreat and you can participate as much or as little as you wish.
