YOGA RETREATS & MORE
Meticulously Curated Retreats

Frequently Asked Questions:
These are the questions people ask the most often before booking onto a retreat...
1 / What happens on your yoga and wellness retreats?
Our retreats in Cumbria, Lancashire and India are designed as a gentle but powerful reset.

Here, you get to be looked after.
Your days include yoga, suitable for all, nourishing food, time in nature, meaningful conversation and space to simply breathe again. There is adventure but never pressure. Structure but never rigidity.
You arrive tired from routine.
You leave clearer, lighter and more yourself.
2 / Who are your retreats for?
Our retreats are created especially for men and women who:
-
Need time away from routine and responsibility
-
Crave meaningful human connection
-
Want comfort without extravagance
-
Prefer small groups and thoughtful hosting

Many guests come alone. Almost all leave with new friendships.
3 / Do I need to be good at yoga?
Absolutely not.
You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to have done yoga recently or ever!
Our sessions are welcoming, adaptable and grounded. This is about reconnecting with your body, not performing.
I very carefully select yoga teachers who have enough experience to tailor the sessions to the guests' abilities.
4 / What makes your retreats different from other UK yoga retreats?
There are many beautiful retreats available. What makes ours different is the feeling.
We combine:
-
Affordable luxury
-
Off-the-beaten-path locations
-
A warm, down-to-earth atmosphere
-
Adventure balanced with deep rest
-
Genuine human connection

Our retreats are not a crowded wellness holiday as we limit groups to 8 guests.
They are a carefully held experience.
5 / Are your retreats suitable for solo travellers?
Absolutely!
Most of our guests travel solo.
The group size is intentionally small so connection happens naturally, without awkward ice-breakers or forced sharing.
Before every retreat, Florence will set up a WhatsApp group so you can get to know your fellow retreaters before meeting them in person.
You can join in fully or take quiet time when you need it.
6 / What does a typical retreat day look like?
Each location has its own rhythm and activities, but generally:
-
Gentle morning yoga
-
A relaxed breakfast
-
Time for walking, exploring, journalling or resting
-
Optional workshops or excursions
-
Late afternoon restorative practice
-
Shared meals and unhurried conversation

There is always free time.
This is your retreat and you can participate as much or as little as you wish.
