"I feel so grateful to have had the experience at the Kundalini retreat in Cumbria. From the moment I arrived I felt relaxed. Florence and Sita greeted me and immediately made me feel at ease. I was given a fantastic room with a beautiful view and a lovely bath. The other guests arrived and we were given tea and biscuits and all got to know one another. It felt like the perfect mix of people. The yoga sessions were magical. Sita is a brilliant teacher with the right mix of knowledge, kindness and humour. She was able to make all abilities comfortable and the yoga was accessible for beginners and those more experienced. Florence was always floating around making sure everything was just right and all the guests were comfortable. The meals were prepared by a local chef and were always waiting for us to enjoy in the amazing dining room. The only problem was the food was so good, I never could get my fill! There were snacks, fruit, biscuits and tea available when you needed a little bite. Florence also arranged walks for us in the lovely area. We walked together to a breathtaking waterfall, went swimming in the river and nearby lake and had a lovely picnic in a field. The variety of experiences was fantastic. I still felt there was time to be alone as well, which was important to me, as I wanted to have some time by myself, and I never felt pressure if I took a few hours away from the group. All in all, I would highly recommend this yoga retreat! Thank you Florence and Sita for all the personal effort you put into making it special for everyone."

"I had the most wonderful time on your yoga and walking retreat in Cumbria. I loved every single minute of it. The yoga was perfect and the addition of the sound healing was a real treat. Your hospitality and kindness and friendship were really genuine and much appreciated. The food and accommodation were exceptional and added to the whole experience. You gave us the space to be alone if needed, to sit in quiet contemplation, read or sleep. Yet the group was so friendly and it was so lovely to be amongst like-minded souls. The local countryside was so beautiful and I loved exploring the local area with you and the group. I am so looking forward to the next retreat with you and can highly recommend this for a wonderful short break away from everyday life. The perfect way to nurture your soul.

"Hi Florence, your retreat was the first I have ever been on, it came at a time in my life I really needed to do something different to get away from it all..  It was everything I’d imagined it would be and more ❤️, from the time I arrived and was greeted by lovely people and shown to my gorgeous room with countryside views to the time I left. Everything about it was so relaxing & think it worked really well having the yoga twice a day (which was brilliant, especially the gong) followed by our delicious healthy meals and free time in the afternoons.   It was lovely to spend a few days with really inspirational people and be able to talk about subjects I struggle to talk about with family and friends.   Thank you for such a lovely weekend, it was perfect for me & have come away feeling a lot stronger & focused."

" When I was searching the internet looking to book a retreat I found that they were all a few days. I wanted more but had a limited budget. Then I came across this retreat in Cumbria at a low cost for 5 days. I had no idea it was going to be in such a beautiful area and that the accommodation would be so luxurious. The large room was of the highest quality. Looking out of the window at the lovely gardens and the beautiful valley I saw a red squirrel climbing the pine tree! The accommodation is situated in I reckon the last massive area of wilderness this side of Scotland. I liked that you could join in with the group activities, or go off and do your own thing.  

The yoga teacher stayed with us and was amazing.  We did yoga in the morning and afternoon every day which was lovely. 

Now you Florence,  you made us feel welcome and provided such lovely vegan food. 

You organised everything and supported us all in all are ways. I can't thank you enough."

What a wonderful retreat ! The strange thing is that I returned home much healthier and so much more energised! I had hoped for an improvement but the change has been extraordinary. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I am taking up yoga and changing my diet. I cannot promise you completely vegan but I am planning somewhere on my way to that. I will be planning and cooking proper nutritious meals and doing regular yoga classes and hopefully some walking. This is your legacy to me. Quite an amazing transformation for me.

The countryside was so beautiful, even on the wetter days, and filled my soul. What a beautiful place to choose. Heaven sent!

The atmosphere in the house helped with my healing too. Such calm & peace. It was wonderful.

And you were so kind and caring Florence, thank you. I noticed your little acts of kindness too and really appreciated them ! 

All in all a potentially life changing experience for me.

This was my very first retreat and it will certainly not be the last. The retreat in Cumbria, UK, was better than advertised. A very warm & caring environment. We were a small group and became a family by the end of it. Everything from arrival to departure was so well planned. Daily yoga, fresh air & great food. What more could one ask for ?

On the last night we had hot chocolate under the stars around a nice crackling fire pit.

I will certainly be booking more retreats with YRaM.
