About the Event

If booking a week long retreat feels impossible for you right now, then consider a day retreat.

You will be amazed at how much can be achieved in a few hours !

Yoga, meditation, Pranayamas, silent walk in nature, nourishing lunch, talking circle with like minded retreaters, a sound bath and a sense of belonging to a welcoming tribe, will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.


  • 10 am -  Welcome tea - Introductions - Discover your goody bag !
  • 10.30 am to 12 pm - Yoga session to loosen up and start the day energised, with Hélène Fauquet.
  • 12 pm to 1.30 pm - Enjoy a freshly prepared plant based & vegetarian lunch, taken together around the dining table.
  • 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm - Silent walk in nature - A time to be mindful, reflect and day dream.
  • 2.30 pm to 3 pm - Free time/ share with your fellow retreaters.
  • 3 pm to 4 pm - Get back on the mat for a session of Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Hélène.
  • 4 pm to 5 pm - Time for the ultimate relaxation with a crystal & Tibetan singing bowls sound bath, held by Florence Achery.
  • 5 pm to 5.30 pm - Tea, biscuits & goodbyes !

Meet the team

* Hélène Fauquet will be your yoga instructor.

Hélène has over 20 years experience having qualified as a yoga instructor in 2003 at the Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Dhanwantari Asham in Neyyar Dam in Kerala, India. She has been teaching yoga ever since.

Hélène has a deep knowledge of pregnancy yoga, yoga for teenagers, perimenopause and menopause as well as Yin yoga.

Hélène is based in London where she teaches face to face or over Zoom.

Pranayama, breathing exercises, are an integral part of all the classes.

* Florence Achery will hold the sound bath.

Florence is a sound healer from London. She graduated from the College Of Sound Healing and works with 432hz crystal singing bowls and Tibetan singing bowls.

Sound healing is incredibly powerful. It enables you to fully switch off and let go of the “monkey chatter“. It is known to help with anxiety, insomnia, stress and can rebalance the nervous system and heal on a deep cellular level.

How to get here • 

* By car - There is ample free parking.

* By tube - Rickmansworth station on the Metropolitan line + 20 minutes walk or a short Uber ride.

What to bring • Clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor walking in March - A yoga mat (if you want your own) - A blanket for Yoga Nidra and the sound bath - A water bottle.
